Southern Alleghenies EMS Council continues its “Third Tuesday” education series on March 15th with a look at the latest technology in pacemaker devices and wearable cardiac defibrillators. We’ll also look at a challenge of determining the cause of a syncopal episode. Dr. Alexis Davis will review symptoms and the related causes of a syncopal episode. Among the key points: a detailed history is a must as well as a comprehensive cardiovascular and neurological exam.
